Animal MR uses high field MRI magnets with state-of-the-art technology to deliver superior veterinary services. We have 5 mobile MRI units located at 5 veterinary referral hospitals so they do not have to be moved.

Patient Protocol

• Consultation with a specialist
• Laboratory tests, radiographs, and ancillary diagnostics, as indicated
• Intravenous catheter
• Anesthesia
  
  
  • Induction: diazepam and propofol or a preferred variation
  • Maintenance: intubation, oxygen, isoflurane and intravenous fluids
  • Monitoring: veterinary technician, pulse oximeter, heart rate monitor, capnograph, ventilator 
  • Recovery: in hospital

MRI Interpretation

• Team approach - board certified neurologists, surgeons, and radiologists
• Correlation of MRI findings with clinical evaluation
• Written report and digital images provided on CD-ROM
