Jason Berg, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Neurology and Internal Medicine
Dr. Berg received his DVM degree in 1996 from Texas A&M University. He completed an internship and then a combined internal medicine and neurology residency at The Animal Medical Center in 2000, at which time he also passed his board certification in neurology. He is a skilled neurosurgeon able to operate routine neurologic cases such as disc disease and has also operated challenging cases including brain tumors, ventriculoperitoneal shunt placement in hydrocephalic animals, and occipital foramen region remodeling in toy breed dogs with Chiari Malformation. Animal MR has proven to be an asset in the diagnosis of these cases. Dr. Berg is also a board certified specialist in internal medicine. In this discipline, his skills encompass ultrasonography and endoscopy.
